The Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has a rich and distinguished history spanning nearly a century on the Clark College—now Clark Atlanta University—campus. Established just twenty-one years after the founding of our great Fraternity in 1906, Alpha Phi has upheld a legacy of excellence, scholarship, and leadership for generations. As we approach our Centennial Celebration in 2027, the chapter continues to stand as a pillar of brotherhood and influence within Greek life, honoring the vision of our founders while forging new paths for the future.

Our fraternal leadership has identified three critical areas defining how we dedicate our time and resources. These enable us to leverage capacity across various audiences. Our fraternity’s motto of “First of all, Servants of all, We shall transcend all”, embodies our history as the first intercollegiate fraternity founded by African American Men; Our Mission to provide service to our community; and our charge to our membership.

His exceptional artwork is set to be honored and showcased in the prestigious 50th Anniversary of hip hop exhibit at the AUC library, a testament to his creative prowess and cultural significance. Brother Richards’ achievements not only reflect his commitment to academic excellence but also his passion for artistic expression, contributing meaningfully to the legacy of both his fraternity and the rich tapestry of hip hop culture. His accomplishments serve as an inspiration, embodying the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and artistic brilliance that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. holds dear.
